How to make some extra Cash

I'm sure a lot of us out there at times are looking for some extra money and it's really hard to come up with some ideas as to how to make some extra cash, so if you are a teenager, college student or just an adult looking to get a little extra, I've got your back, here are a few tips...

1. Online Surveys

Online surveys are a great way to get some extra money, and what better way then to do it from the comfort of your own home! All you have to do is create an account with them, and start taking surveys. You can get paid for cash or for vouchers in your favorite stores. How does it work? Well, after having signed up, you are asked about your name, email address and gender in order for the company to understand what kind of member you are. Once signed up, they will keep you updated via email with new surveys for you to participate in.

There motto is that our time is valuable, and that's why they pay us users to finish. After finishing each survey you are gifted points that we can later redeem as cash or gift cards. You can find out more on their website here (Don't worry this website is completely legitimate, I have used this before when I was a college student).

2. Sell Your Skill

Do you have a skill that you could sell? for example, are you good with graphics, art, coding, writing etc? You could advertise your services to others for a fee of your choice and do what you love in your spare time and gain some money out of it.

Here is a Link on the Do's and Don'ts of being a Freelance Artist. It can help you make a decision on weather it's something you'd like to venture into.

The only website that I am aware of that does this sort of thing is People per Hour, but I'm sure there are others... If you check out their page it has all the information you need in order to become a freelancer.

3. Closet Clear out

This one is basically what it says in the title. All you have to do, is take a look through your closet and see if there is anything you no longer need/use, I'm sure you have at least 3 items you can get rid of. It's not just limited to your closet you can look through your house and see what's no longer in use and sell them.

There are many websites you can do this on, Ebay; Amazon and Depop. Personally I use Depop as a form of buying and selling, you might ask what is Depop? It's a mobile, social shopping app, it's where you can set up your own Depop shop and browse the feed to find your favorite bloggers and other users. For more information, just click on the word Depop above to find out more.

4. Selling a Product

Create a tee and sell it in the Tee-spring community (Information is on there website). A cute fun way to start a business.

5. Blogging

If you are a blogger like me you can use Adsense - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdSense

By sharing ads on your blog, you can earn some money.

I hope that you found at least one new way of making some extra cash.

How to Define your own Personal Style

Personal Style is difficult to achieve at the best of times. Besides the fact that it's forever evolving, you appreciate multiple different styles, which gushes the question, which one truly speaks to you?
I myself feel like I am coming into my own with the fact that I accept multiple different styles and love to experiment all the time. But however with having experimented, I found myself knowing what not to go for. At times I feel like going for a more girly, feminine, elegant and classy look but I also love to go edgy!

If you want to find your own personal style here are a few steps to get you there, in order for you to feel comfortable and the most fabulous self you can be.

*TAKE NOTE AND OBSERVE*

What I find helps me the most is social media accounts that I admire, the most favorable being Instagram. Take a look at the accounts you follow and observe what best describes the looks you are looking at, are they Girly? or Modern with an edgy vibe? There are so many styles you can notice but narrow it down to a few key words, this way you can take a mental note or write down all of the things you like and feel able to carry out with your very own personal style.

*SCREENSHOT OR SAVE*

You don't have to be a professional blogger to be able to take notes of what's out there and what catches your eye. If you see something online whilst "online window shopping" save it and put it into a folder specifically for style inspiration and soon you will find that with a collection of images you can see how visible your style appears to be.

Another thing I do is have a scrapbook of pictures of outfits I have put together, outfits I was particularly proud of and loved. It's the perfect diary that you can look back on if you find yourself stuck with picking out an outfit (I personally use InstragramPinterest and the blog as a form of that).

*STRENGTHS*

Take note of your figure and identify if you are an hourglass, sporty or curvy frame. There are many forums that show what works best for your figure, wear the clothes that show your best assets, something that makes you confident and stylish. Also take a mental note of what people compliment you on.

*CLEAR OUT AND IDENTIFY*

From time to time I like to re organize my wardrobe and clear out what I no longer use, you would be surprised at the amount of things you have grown out of love for. One thing I notice whilst doing this activity is finding an item that I had purchased thinking I'd wear it and never really made use of it. These are the items you can tick off your list of things to buy in future, as you now know you won't ever use them.

WHAT I'M WEARING

Blazer - Bershka
Skinny Jeans - Primark
Handbag - Primark
Sunglasses - Accessorize

* BELIEVE IN YOURSELF*

One thing I stick by is to trust my instincts, it's been proven over the years that when I've trusted my instincts I've felt more accomplished in the outcomes that come out of the decision I've made. So my advice to you is if you feel like you are a feminine more girly girl then stick to it, because if you opt for a edgy more sporty vibe you won't feel like your best self, somewhat unnatural and uncomfortable. If you believe in your own style and feel good in it, you can carry it off a lot better than trying to fit into another category.

Have you discovered your personal style yet?
